After starting to become more confident with the practical side of the journey, I reached one of the most important steps: creating my website on WordPress.
The first step was choosing a hosting service and sharing it with my mentor. After that, I received a link that allowed me to start working on the website concretely. From that moment on, everything became more real: it was no longer just about understanding how the platform works, but actually using it.
The initial phase was mainly technical. I had to get familiar with how WordPress works, follow a few steps, and understand how to navigate the interface. It wasn’t immediate, but little by little I started to feel more comfortable.
Once the site was created, I also discovered the more “creative” side. There are many ways to customize a website: choosing a theme, changing colors, fonts, and layout. This makes it possible to adapt it to your own style and goals.
Regarding the content, the program requires creating at least eight posts. I decided to create a blog where I could share my experience step by step. However, there are many possibilities: you can build a personal website, a portfolio, or other types of projects, depending on your interests.
This phase made me realize that building a website is not just a technical task, but also a way to express yourself and organize your ideas. Even though I’m still at the beginning, seeing something concrete has given me much more motivation.
